About the Event:
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered program that uses biblically based principles to help individuals overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. In a safe and welcoming group setting you will work through the CR recovery 12-steps, gain insight and build lifelong tools for personal growth and healing. Participants can expect a collaborative workgroup setting where we discuss one of the CR Principles / 12-Steps each week. There is no cost for participation.

Black Balloon Day

About the Event:
On March 6, families and loved ones across the United States come together for Black Balloon Day to honor those lost to overdose. 
While overdose deaths have recently declined, drug overdose remains the leading cause of accidental death in the U.S. Black Balloon Day is a time to remember, raise awareness for harm prevention, and support those impacted by substance use disorder. Sharing our stories and bringing the community together through shared experiences helps break the stigma and drive real change. 

How to Participate in Black Balloon Day? 

Save the Planet – Release a Virtual Balloon
Instead of releasing physical balloons, Overdose Lifeline encourages everyone to participate virtually. Use our Black Balloon Day social media graphics and stickers to help spread awareness.

Black Balloon Day, observed on March 6, serves as a poignant reminder for families and communities across the United States to honor and remember those lost to overdose, while also raising awareness about substance use disorder and harm prevention. Despite a recent decline in overdose deaths, this tragic epidemic continues to be the leading cause of accidental death in the country. By sharing stories and fostering communal support, this day aims to break the stigma surrounding addiction, promote understanding, and inspire real change for individuals and families affected by this issue.

Recovery City Documentary Screening

Their stories highlight resilience, grit, and the power of lived experience to inspire hope and change.
